Walking into Aladdin's, I felt an immediate sense of comfort. The smell of the food and the warm atmosphere were both inviting. Aladdin’s really does a great job on delivering a delicious, hearty meal that leaves nothing out in terms of portion size or depth of flavor. Whether you’re a dyed-in-the-wool Lebanese food aficionado or just about to dip your toes into this cuisine, Aladdin's is your place. I explored my way from hummus to shawarma, and I caught myself grinning at the exciting range of their menu.

They're open seven days a week from 10 am till 9 pm (and till 10 for all you night owls on Friday and Saturday), so you’ve got plenty of time to grab either lunch or dinner (or breakfast if you prefer - though they are light on traditional breakfast)

Where can we find Aladdin's?

With 30 unique outposts spread around the eastern USA, Aladdin's is definitely leaving footprints. You'll find these cheery places in Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. There are no current plans to expand, which makes sense - with the quality and attention to detail they maintain, any expansion might risk dilution. Strangely enough, you won't find Aladdin’s chains even in Lebanon! I'm guessing Fady felt the Lebanese knew their cuisine pretty well already. So, what's the secret sauce of Aladdin's?

It's their commitment to maintain Lebanese cuisine's nature of being incredibly rich and fulfilling, wholesome, diverse, and with an emphasis on healthy ingredients, apart from being satisfying. The example of their hummus is an interesting one. Many store-bought variants are packed with stabilizers, but Aladdin's hummus is unbelievably fresh, flavorful, and definitely a healthier choice! So, why settle for anything less?

But is Aladdin's spicy?

If you’re worried about handling the heat, don’t worry. Lebanese food tends to be more on the herby side. Ask your server for a dish that is not quite as feisty or well-adapted for your dietary requirements and they’ll be glad to assist.

What's breakfast like at Aladdin's?

Wondering what they serve at 10 in the morning? Yes, their menu may look different from your typical American breakfast, featuring more chickpeas and lentils and fewer bacon strips and fried eggs. But hey, that's why you step into a Lebanese restaurant, isn’t it? To experience deliciously different dishes!

I can tell you that their "Honeymooner" juice is a personal favorite of mine!
