My Experience at Piada
So, I recently visited Piada, which is open for both lunch and dinner, and what really got my attention was its setup. It reminded me of an Italian version of Chipotle Mexican Grill, with these long counters where they prepare your food. Trust me, it's as impressive as it sounds!
You might not know this, but the first Piada store was opened back in 2010 by Chris Doddy. Now, Chris is no newbie to the restaurant business. In fact, he's actually the co-founder of the Bravo Brio Restaurant Group chain, which includes gems such as Bravo! Culinary Italiana. I mean, with that impressive pedigree, you know you're in safe hands at Piada.
If you're interested in learning more about Piada like I was, head over to their website. It's a goldmine of information, and you can find it at https://mypiada.com/.

What's in a Piada?
Now, if you're like me, one of the first things you're thinking is, "What's a Piada?". Well, it's an Italian-style street food wrap, and it's a delightful marriage between Middle Eastern pitta bread and Mexican flour tortillas. They bake it on a flat grill and even puff it up by pricking with a fork. The result? A delightful, mouthwatering treat that you won't easily forget. Trust me – I couldn't stop at one!
Some of my favorite options include the Avocado Piada and Chef’s Favorite Piada. But the best part is, if their menu doesn't twirl your spaghetti, you can get inventive and create your own Piada!
Can You Get Gluten-Free Options at Piada?
Yes! I've got a friend who's gluten intolerant, and she didn't have to miss out on the fun. There are various gluten-free options on the menu, with a useful 'GF' symbol indicating which items she could choose from.
However, do bear in mind that some items are processed in a facility that uses gluten, and cross-contamination can occur. So if you're highly sensitive to gluten, make sure to inform the staff or choose your food carefully.
What are the Opening Hours?
Piada stores typically open from 11 am to 11 pm Monday through Thursday and up to 12 pm on Friday and Saturday. So you can satisfy your Italian food cravings pretty much any time of the day, 7 days a week. Just check with your local branch or the website for the exact timing.
Does Piada Deliver?
Yes, Piada delivers, so you can enjoy lip-smacking Italian street food right from the comfort of your own home. There's nothing quite like sitting in your jammies with a Piada wrap, I tell you!
Delivery options may vary, so make sure to check with your local branch, or on their website. And if delivery isn't available in your area, they offer in-store pickup, curbside pickup or window pickup, which is super convenient!
Is Piada Healthy?
Without a doubt. There are plenty of healthy options on the menu at Piada, plus every dish is prepared using high-quality and fresh ingredients. My personal favorite healthy option is the Power Bowl – a bowlful of slow-release energy with just 670 calories. Perfect if you're looking to eat out but also wanna stay on the healthy side.
Make sure to check out the nutritional calculator on Piada's website. It actually shows you the exact nutritional breakdown of your meal, helping you make informed choices.
How about Vegan Food?
Well, if you're a vegan like my sister, you'll still have options at Piada, like the Farmers Market Salad and Power Bowl. They do not, however, offer plant-based meat alternatives. But there's still a variety of vegan-friendly toppings and salad dressings to choose from.
What's In It For Loyal Customers?
Piada has a reward program which rewards you with 5 points for every full-priced entree you order from the menu. Once you hit 15 points, you get a cool $5 reward that can be redeemed against anything on the menu! It's like a little love letter from Piada to their regular customers.
Does Piada Cater?
Yes! For when you want that touch of Italian style for your party or event, they will even take care of the catering for you. Choose from their signature dishes which can feed up to 20 people, or opt for individually packaged boxed lunches that your guests are sure to love. What better way to impress your guests, right?
