My family and I had a chance to dine at the popular Circus Circus Buffet, a quirky spot that's part of the historic Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. We found the buffet offered a wonderful choice of meals throughout the day, perfectly catering to families seeking enjoyable and affordable dining in Las Vegas.
You'll find Circus Circus Buffet smack-dab in the heart of the bustling northern part of the Las Vegas strip, nestled inside the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. The establishment has impressively been running since 1968, the brainchild of Jay Sarno and Stanley Ma. It's currently owned and operated by Phil Ruffin. One of the things that was quite compelling was the unique entertainment, including permanent circus and trapeze acts, which sets it apart from other hotels in the area. Our trip to the hotel and casino wasn't complete without indulging in their much-raved-about buffet.
What Makes Circus Circus Stand Out?
It's hard to overlook Circus Circus Buffet when you consider the price. It's rare to find buffets for $30 and under, especially on the Vegas Strip. But here, we had the chance to relish a vast array of cuisines, including Italian, Mexican, American, and Asian, without denting our wallet. The made-to-order omelet station at the breakfast buffet was a hit with us, as was the carving station for dinner.
While the buffet draws in quite the crowd (around 13,000 diners a day!), we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortably they managed the flow. With a bunch of kids in tow, we had plenty of options to keep them satisfied. I noticed other families with kids enjoying kid-friendly staples such as spaghetti and meatballs, corndogs, hotdogs, and lots more.
Traveling with family and on a hunt for a pocket-friendly yet delightful dining experience on Vegas strip? You won't falter with Circus Circus Buffet.
