I had the pleasure of dining at one of the 400 Round Table Pizza locations in the US, and boy, it was quite an adventure. I soon came to discover that this wasn't your average pizza joint. They are presently undergoing a redesign that cleverly mixes the medieval era with a modern touch. The idea is to create a one-of-a-kind experience, kind of like pizza royalty, if you will. The feeling is something other pizza restaurants can but only dream of achieving.
One thing that quickly grabbed my attention was their commitment to delivering nothing less than gold-standard pizza. Rather striking, isn't it? I assure you their customer service standard is just as exceptional.
I had the opportunity of sharing one of their handcrafted pizzas with a few friends, and boy was it worth it. Their use of superior ingredients blatantly reflected in the mouthwatering slice I had.
Founded back in 1959, the first Round Table Pizza, situated in the Western US, was the brainchild of William Larson, a dedicated man who, after his 4-year stint in the US Navy, worked several jobs. Combining the rich experience he gained along the way, Larson opened his very own pizza place, which were marked by unique round red tables, handbuilt by his dad.
The original location in California was later moved to El Camino Real where it stands strong till today, under the very watchful eyes of Larson's son, Bill. Taking up his father's mantle, Bill continues to uphold the standards set by Larson. And his pizza recipe has, without a doubt, won over its pretty fair share of hearts, expanding the company's footprint well beyond US shores into Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar.
Gazing over the Round Table Pizza menu felt like being a kid in a candy store. Their crust is a class of its own. Oh, and have I mentioned they pay as much attention to their appetizers as they do their pizzas? You'll find salads, in all sizes, made with the freshest of ingredients. It's these same high standards that make their pizzas such a treat.
I highly recommend hopping on to their official website to delve deeper into their rich history and order your very own pizza royalty.

What about their appetizers?
Listed on their menu are incredibly tasty Classic Wings, tossed in your favorite sauce. Their Garlic Parmesan Twists, a three cheese blend with Parmesan Cheese, really speak to their commitment to high-quality ingredients. And if you'd rather not deal with bones, their seasoned boneless wings could be right up your alley, served with your choice of dipping sauces.
Do they offer healthier options?
Yes indeed! The salads are fresh, crisp, and absolutely delicious. Lettuce, ripe tomatoes, processed to order is their guarantee. But, to mix things up, they just introduced a new Spinach salad. Spinach topped with cucumber, tomatoes, grape, red onion, parmesan, sunflower seeds, and balsamic dressing.
