Now, let's talk about the best part - the food. China Garden's signature Mandarin and Szechwan menu was an aromatic delight. From crunchy chicken wings to the tangy fried shrimps and minced chicken in a lettuce cup, the appetizers will not disappoint. If, like me, you find it hard to choose, give their assorted appetizer platter a try - it's six different dishes on one plate. Moving onto the main course, their offerings range from chow mein (lo mein soft noodle), fried rice, assorted meat delicacies, to vegetable and tofu dishes, Moo Shu (Chinese Burritos), and steamed dishes. Some personal favourites from my experience were the Shrimp and Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce and Crispy Tofu in Tangerine Sauce. For my health-conscious readers, you'll be glad to know that China Garden includes a range of healthy dishes tailored for weight watchers and are steamed to perfection without any added salt, starch, oil or sugar making them quite unlike most other Mandarin and Szechwan dishes which are predominantly fried. China Garden certainly did not shy away from delivering a good kick of spice in many of their dishes, and they considerately mark spicy items on their menu with a chilli symbol. My spicy food loving soul rejoiced with options like Shrimp and Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce, Crispy Tofu in Tangerine Sauce, Kim Chi Korean spicy Salad, and many more dishes exploding with fiery flavors. Fret not though, if you're not a fan of spicy food, there's still plenty on the menu to tantalize your taste buds. There’s much delight in store for vegetarians as well. They have delicious vegetarian dishes like the Vegetable Fried Rice, Moo Shu Vegetable, Vegetable Chow Fun, and Vegetable Pan-Fried Noodles. Apart from their impressive gastronomical experience, China Garden keeps its doors open 7 days a week, with timings from 11am to 9:30pm on most days and up to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. They do serve alcohol which includes international beers, wine, sake, and cocktails. Additionally, for those who prefer to enjoy their meal at the comfort of their homes, China Garden offers a prompt delivery service, so you can savor their full menu right where you are. They even provide contact-free delivery upon request. Their delivery service concludes 30 minutes prior to their closing time but do check with the restaurant for more details.
