Bubba 33 is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week offering hot, fresh, food to order with service second to none.
Bubba 33 opened its doors for the first time in 2013 when Kent Taylor, founder of Texas Roadhouse, felt there was room in the market for a fast-casual sports bar that would provide fresh food from scratch. Since the first time it opened its doors, Bubba 33 has now grown to 24 locations and it looks like it will continue growing if things keep going the way they are. How could they even think about stopping opening new franchises until they have at least 33 locations, right? Anything short of that would be a disappointment at this point!

What makes Bubba 33 unique?
The ethos behind Bubba 33 is pretty simple. There is no reason that a sports bar cant serve high-quality food. The reason most sports bars sell frozen junk is that it is cheaper and easier. Sure, it takes a lot more effort and attention to detail to provide great, fresh, food prepared daily - but why should that mean it isn't worth it? Bubba 33 prepares all of their food in-house from the sauce they coat their chicken wings into the dressing for their fresh salads. Bubba 33 makes their pizza dough from scratch, cooks their burgers medium well, and hand cuts their ribeyes. Why? Because that's how they like to cook their food. There is no attempt to be fancy, no pretending they aren't a sports bar, you won't find fine china and crystal glasses. They do classic food well, and that's all there is to it.

Does Bubba 33 have good vegetarian options?
Sports bars don't exactly scream veggie-friendly. Which is a shame, but that's the way things tend to be. Not Bubba 33, though. they take pride in offering excellent veggie options so you aren't left feeling short-changed! Whether you want veggie burgers, pizzas, plates of pasta, or salads there is bound to be something that takes your fancy. The fresh veggie pizza with vine-ripened tomatoes and delicious black olives is a favorite for regular veggie patrons as well as their chopped salads.
Are kids welcome at Bubba 33?
Bubba 33 is a sports bar, not a dive bar, it is absolutely family friendly and kids are more than welcome. The kid's menu consists of a variety of favorites such as hot dogs, mac and cheese, and chicken tenders. And veggies, of course. They even have kid-sized "lil' pizzas"s which are customizable and perfect for keeping the kids entertained while the adults are dining. What kid doesn't love personal pizzas?
What are Bubba 33's signature dishes?
Bubba 33 has an amazingly varied menu but there are a few stars that manage to shine despite the feisty competition. Fried. Pickles. How could it not be? Thinly sliced deep-fried homemade dill pickles. Salty, juicy, crispy. What goes better with a cold beer than a fried pickle? If you are looking for something with a little more meat to it, you can't go wrong with the Shotgun Shrimp Po'Boy. Lastly, we have (not quite a signature dish) Bubba 33's pizza which is not just made fresh each day, it is made fresh to order.
Is Bubba 33 owned by Texas Roadhouse?
Yes! Bubba 33 was started by Texas Roadhouse CEO Kent Taylor who firmly believed he could emulate the same success that Texas Roadhouse enjoyed with a similar, yet unique, chain of casual sports bars capturing a relatively untapped market in many areas. There are very few sports bars that can rival Bubba 33 in freshness and quality so it's no wonder they have done so well. The fun and friendly atmosphere of Texas Roadhouse has been clearly mirrored in the energy and attitude of the servers and bar staff of Bubba 33, and why would you want it any other way?
Is Bubba 33 a healthy choice?
There will always be a limit to how healthy sports bar food will be. Even if you are deep frying vegetables they still aren't going to be great for you. However, that being said, Bubba 33 is about as good as it gets for the style of restaurant that it is. Making everything from scratch, fresh to order, removes so many of the additives and preservatives that generally make food unhealthy as well as ensures you know exactly what you are eating. The chefs are more aware of everything that goes into their dishes which makes working around dietary needs easier and ensures happy customers get exactly what they want out of their meal.
How did Bubba 33 get its name?
Bubba is actually the nickname of the founder and owner, Kent Taylor. Naming the joint after himself without it being obvious is all in good fun and aligns well with what the brand is trying to achieve. The 33 refers to the year, 1993, the prohibition on alcohol ended and we could all finally drink again! Everyone was over the moon and it was a time of joy and celebration. That kind of energy represents what Bubba 33 is all about. It is a catchy name with a good backstory, good effort, Bubba.
